TOWN BOARD MEETING NOTICE

TOWN OF LONG LAKE 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the regular monthly Long Lake Town Board meeting will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at  6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall at N1584 Cty Hwy MD. Probable agenda items include: Jeff Walters maintenance contract; non-metallic mining ordinance; closure of walk/ski trail on town land; communications tower on town land; unpaid personal property taxes of Little Bears Landing; approve 3 operator’s licenses .

The complete agenda will be posted at all three public notice locations at least 24 hours prior to the meeting and will be on the web site at www.townoflonglake.com.  All interested persons are encouraged to attend.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING & SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS

TOWN OF LONG LAKE, WASHBURN COUNTY

NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING AND

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS

Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Long Lake Town Hall located at N1584 Cty Hwy MD, a Public Hearing on the Proposed 2017 Budget of the Town of Long Lake will be held.  The proposed 2017 Budget Summary will be posted at all three Public Notice Locations and the proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the Clerk’s Office. Please call for an appointment.

 

Immediately following the Budget Public Hearing on this day of Wednesday, November 9, 2016, a Special Town Meeting of the Electors called pursuant to Statute 60.12 (1)(c) of Wisconsin Statutes by the Town Board for the following purposes will be held:

  1. To approve the minutes of November 10, 2015 Special Town Meeting.
  2. To adopt the 2016 town tax levy to be paid in 2017 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes.
  3. To establish the salaries of elected officials for the terms of office to begin in April, 2017 pursuant to Section 60.32 of Wisconsin Statutes.

 

Immediately following the Special Town Meeting of the Electors the Town Board will meet to discuss and consider Board adoption of the 2017 Town Budget pursuant to Section 60.40(4) of Wisconsin Statutes and to have the monthly meeting.
